Terms of Service

Last updated 5 July 2026

These terms, in plain English, set out the agreement between you and ROPES ("we", "us", "our") when you use this website, join our mailing list, or place a pre-order. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Our products

We sell ROPES Pro, a retractable skipping rope, currently available as a launch pre-order. Product images, colours and details are shown as accurately as we can, but slight variation is possible.

Orders and pre-orders

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By paying you also agree to Stripe's terms. We do not see or store your full card details. If a pre-order is taken as a deposit, any remaining balance will be charged as described at checkout.

Cancellations and refunds

As this is a distance sale, if you are a consumer in the UK you generally have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order and receive a refund, subject to the usual exceptions in consumer law. For a pre-order that has not yet shipped, you can cancel for a full refund at any time before dispatch by emailing info@ropespro.com. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Shipping

Shipping estimates are our best guess and are not guaranteed. We'll keep you updated by email as your order progresses.

Mailing list and emails

Our marketing emails are sent via Kit, and our order and account emails are delivered via Resend. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email or at https://ropespro.com/unsubscribe. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, or use it unlawfully.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, images, video, logos and designs — belongs to ROPES or our licensors, and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the site and products with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing here limits our liability for things that can't be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights or liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here, with the "last updated" date above, is the one that applies.
